Moki m350 twin
Hello fellow fliers,
A good friend gave me a box of miscellaneous RC goodies. One in particular was a Moki M350 inline twin glow engine which I believe can be converted to gas. Anyone know the value of such engine? Looks new in the box. I went on Moki website and they only show a M360. I believe this engine was made in the mid 80's.

no one has answered, I will try to help, BTW you are in luck, accordingly to Google Images there is only one other Moki 350 IL Twin in the world LOL, so your's should sell fast LOL
to help you decide on a price, the only way I can help you is to tell you what the Super Tartan 44cc Opposed Twin's asking prices have been for the last 10 or so years.. for both used and "never started" engines I have seen "asking" prices for the Tartan's Twins from $250 to $325, and they do sell,, if I was you I would put $375 or $400, if you will be happy for less inform the buyers you will take offers,
shipping, I just shipped a 180 4 stroke "parts engine" (from Vermont to Texas) and it cost $18 and change. insured for $100, I'm betting that heavier Moki would be close to $30 or more..
here's the used Moki 350, seller was asked $350,

Thanks for the info. I'll take some pix and post it in the classifieds. Upon further inspection of the motor it may have been run. So I'll list it as used. I also have a Super Tigre S3000 NIB any idea what that may be worth? Thanks again for all your help!

boy, I sure wish I needed that Moki, it's so cool !
it's exhaust port and gasket face is very clean, so it sure doesn't look like it's been run long at all, make sure you say that in your add !!
as for the Super Tiger, just research the Classified adds on the forums, I have seen them for all kinds of prices, from $150 up, it all depends on the seller in how fast he wants the money and how much he needs for the new plane he is building

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been looking at YouTube videos with both of these engines in action, now I'm on the fence on selling either one of them. I've been flying electric planes for a few years now and got used to the simplicity. Anyhoo, I'm gonna have to ponder the sale for a few days. Thanks again for your input!
