Default Stalling out

this might be asked a bunch of times, I did a search and did not find answer. I have an axial .28 engine that was running fine then developed a leak at the carb where meets the crank. I got a new o ring and put it together and it was running great. About 250 degrees and plenty of power. Then I put another tank of fuel in tank and it started right up but after 3/4-wot it would take off but releasing throttle it will stall out now. Starts right back up, will idle fine, part throttle will run fine. Adjusted back to factory settings and tried tuning again but still does same thing. Seems like it has plenty of compression, when I had it apart took piston/sleeve out and would not go through sleeve. Could the engine just be worn out or am I overlooking something?

Did you try a new glow plug? What glow plug brand and heat range are you using? Has the fuel been from the same jug?

Usually means the engine is not getting fuel. I would check the tank, sometimes the clunk fuel line gets trapped in the forward corner of the tank. So you get plenty of fuel on the ground but when the airplane is titled up like on take off, the engine stalls out because of no fuel. Sometimes a hard shake, nose up and shake the plane tail down with a quick, sharp stop, and the clunk comes loose. Or you may have to take the tank out and do some work on the fuel feed line to shorten it up so it will not get stuck in the corner again. This usually happens after a sudden stop (or even a crash).. Another possibility is a kink in the vent line which goes to the muffler. Or even the connector at the muffler can get stopped up, simple to fix, run a paper clip or stiff wire through the muffler nipple. Think out of the box, what would make the engine quit? If the engine runs good at first and then quits, think of what could cause that. Good luck.

Fuel was same. Top fuel 20%. I did try new glow plug same plug it was using just new. I honestly don’t remember what plug I use brand wise I know I get the medium cold (number 4) plug. Fuel line was just replaced with new lines even before when it was running great. The comment about not enough fuel actually made me think about the inline filter. I wonder if that’s clogged. Didn’t change that when I changed the fuel lines (I stole them off this truck for another truck). It’s raining out now maybe tomorrow I will try without fuel filter to see if that solves it. Thanks
