Does anyone know if you can rotate the carb of an OS 25 FP? I need the servo arm on the other side of the engine to match the position of the engine servo in a airframe. The picture shows the engine currently, I want the servo arm not on the left but the right. I assume you can but it doesn't mention it in the engine instructions.

Adjusting the needle valve would be awfully tricky with the carb flipped. Yes, you should be able to do it, but I would find a way NOT to. If the engine was rear exhaust, it would be different.

I suppose it would be easy to burn your finger. To actually do it would be easy. Just rotate the needle valve so the nipple points to the back. The throttle stop screw looks like it will point forward towards the prop, but might be OK. Once the needle is set, it will likely be fine.

Move the pushrod to the other side. That's much safer then trying to flip the carb and adjust this old-style OS with the needle valve right under/front of that muffler. It's ridiculous to even try.
What kind of plane is it?... Moving the pushrod around isn't uncommon at all, as the engines can sometimes be mounted sideways as well as slanted, or even inverted.
