Question OS 50SX Carb Spacer (OS25281140)

Hello All,
I'm in need of some help on this engine.
Recently, I replaced the Crankcase on my OS 50SX-Ring engine.
However, there is a brass spacer which does not come with the new crankcase.
The spacer in the old crankcase cannot be removed due to damage.
The brass spacer part number is OS25281140 and it is now a discontinued item. I've search all over the Internet but cannot find one.
My only thought is to obtain the measurements so that I can get one made by someone with a lathe. Does anyone know the measurements (OD,ID,H)
Perhaps someone knows of an alternative OS engine which uses a similar spacer which can do the job.
The carburettor is a 40B.
Any help would be much appreciated.

if the 50sx plane case (bore for the carb) is the same as the 50sx Heli case (I think it is the same) the 60LH and 60L Heli carb should fit your case without that bushing.
Note that with these larger carbs you may have to have a bit higher Idle, and most likely you will have a bit higher peak RPM.

Hi Wasp
Thanks for your reply.
I want to keep the engine in it's stock form.
Since writing this thread, A club member I know is willing to turn a brass spacer for me on his lathe.
Apparently it is an easy job to measure the dimensions when you have the right tools and equipment.
Happy Days !!

I could have done that for you. but I don't have that small of a boring bar. I guess I could have used an endmill of the correct size, that I don't have either.
