Any one know what kind of muffler i can use for a Fox 78? it has weird mounting holes... right now i have straight pipes on it (sort of a pitts style) and i want a baffle type to quiet it up

That ones been out of production a long time. You won't find any new production mufflers that I am aware of. Even if you find an original Fox or Semco that fits they will be very loud as are all of those mufflers. Best to make an adaptor for a modern muffler, or take it and the desired muffler to a machine shop and have an adaptor made.

Hey Guys,
I think the 78 has the same exhaust dimensions as the Eagle 60 series I. Take look at the link I have attached and you will see my Eagle 60 with a Super Tiger muffler attached. Took about 5 minutes with a Dremel to match up the ports in the muffler. I also put #6 screws in the original mounting holes to locate the muffler. Your 78 may not have these but it will work without them. If you have any question just let me know.
