i was reading some post and decided to try a different prop. i have been running a 10/6 since i got my trainer almost 2 years ago. so i put the new prop on and it seems to just pull so much better. the engine hadn't even spooled up yet and the plane was off the ground. Too bad it was too windy to stay flying. i guess when my muffler came apart in flight it was a sign not to fly. I was lucky enough to find the muffler with the defletor. I thought it landed on the roof of the school, but it missed by about 10 feet. What other props do you guys use on that engine.

I have found that on almost every sport plane I have used the .46FX in the APC 11 x 5 is the best all around prop for speed and vertical pull. The APC 11 x 6 usually seemed like to much and resulted in landings that were always a bit to hot. The 11 x 4 would be a good choice, especially if your looking for vertical performance.

Hey Troll...
Where are you getting those 11.5x4 APCs? I didn't know they made those.
Just what I need for my castor belching, fearless Fox .40.
