I'm looking to buy an engine similar in output to a US-41. This is my first gas engine & just need to gain some info. Thanks for your feedback & E-mails would be appreciated.

What are you going to buy that is less expensive, more reliable and as durable as/than a USE 41cc engine? I can't think of anything.
A Zenoah G-38 comes close in matching performance, size and weight, but it is much more expensive than the USE 41cc engine and it does not include all of the accessories that come stock with the USE 41cc engine.
While the Zenoah G-38 is a bit more upscale than the USE 41cc engine, I do not feel that the extra money it costs comes anywhere near providing the same value per dollar as the USE 41cc engine. Yes, I have owned several of each.

There are some other engines very much like the US41. One is sold by Ried's as a Cheeta 42. There is another company that sells quadra's called B&B. The US41 and the cheeta 42 are both versions of the quadra 42.
They are an old stand by that have been around for years. I think that either would be excellent for a first time gasser.
I can think of a lot of gas engines that have more power than the US41, and they weigh less too. But all of them costs more.
There are a lot of airplanes designed to use the 41. It will give you many years of dependable service.
Good luck
