Help needed adjusting 2 needle engine
Hello,
I have an old .39 engine. From the rear, the fuel line enters the needle assembly on the left. There is another needle on the right. I have always adjusted the left needle, but have never touched the right needle. What does the right needle do?

The right needle is the idle adjustment. You set the high speed or left needle first at full throttle. When that is where you want it you adjust the other needle for idle. If you haven't been having a problem with idle leave the left one alone. [&:]
