Default 10-15 size engine

Hi,

I'm getting ready to start building Pica's PT 19. This plane calls for a 10 to 15 size engine. The only 15 engines I'm aware of our OS's and Thunder Tiger's. Are there any other 15's out there? Also, does anyone have any experience with the K&B 18.

Thanks for the help.

Dave

I have a Magnum.15XL and I love it. Very very dependable!

Default .15

I have both the Mecoa/Megatech/Leo/? as well as a Norvel AME .15. Both are good runners. The Norvel seems to have the power edge. I do however have a Macs pipe and adapter for the Mecoa (not tuned yet) and expect this combo to be good. I ran the pipe set up and it is loud!
I had the Norvel in a HOB Spacewalker, That was fun until I lost it in the sun.

I have a Magnum 15 XL. It is ball bearing and pulls well. A friend of mine just purchased the 0S 15 CV-A. I have never seen a better performing 15. It is a little more expensive but is worth it.

Default K&B .18

I picked up a K&B .18 at Toledo and am impressed, the muffler actually has a baffle in it and is fairly quiet, I believe it would idle all day and acceleration is instant. I haven't tached it yet as it is not fully broken in.
