Hi Hobbsy! Don't I see prices discussed here all the time? For example, I remember the guys discussing where they could get the best deal on a particular engine, etc.

Thanks,

Ernie

Yes, but that is different from discussing prices between a buyer and seller in an open Forum.

Hi Hobbsy,

I'm not buying and Steve isn't selling. We are just discussing the pros and cons of different bearing suppliers. I see how haggling over prices between buyers and sellers should be taken offline though!

I recently priced a set of bearings for an OS .60 FSR at Applied
Technologies....the small bearing was $/arm, and the big one was
$/leg........($40.00/set )

I got them from Boca for about 1/2 that price. R/C bearings, including
shipping....is 1/2 of that price. Can anyone guess where my next set
of bearings will be coming from ? [sm=stupid.gif]

Dave,

...From Paul at [link=http://rc-bearings.com]RC-Bearings[/link] for less than $8, or ceramics for $24, of-course...

Am I right, or what???

BTW, bearings for MVVS, from MVVS (WIB), cost similar to Paul's, even though they are sold as OEM engine parts.

Wow, with ceramics as low as $24, is there any reason NOT to run them, even for sport use???

Rudeboy,

Sorry for not getting back sooner. I don't deal in that bearing and it is not on any of the standard listings so I have no way of giving you a reliable price. Problem is, if it is not standard, most manufacturers will require a minimum purchase of 1000 bearings. Are you willing to buy that many?
