Bad OS LA40
I have an OS LA40 engine with a worn piston liner due to a bad breakin process. Should I have it fixed myself or should i send it to OS japan for them to fix it? I heard they would do it free of charge.

Send it in to OS and let them know what caused the situation. Maybe they'll repair it otu of goodwill. If not, don't bother buying spare parts, you are better off buying another engine. I'd recommend a TT GP .42 if you are looking for an inexpensive bushing .40 sized engine or a TT .46 which can be found for 69 bucks at NHS.
