Default remote needlevalve

I have a evolution 46 that came out of a h9 alpha that was chrashed hard.
The hi-speed needle valve mounting is broken but the valve itself is not hurt. I know this cuz i have flown this engine alot in a tower trainer withe no problems
. But the question that i have is how far from the carb can the hi-speed needle be mounted. i just purchased a tower voyager mkII the needle hits the cowl. being kind of a scale freak i was just wondering if i could relocate the valve to say may be the fire walll??
