I'm going to Perry and want to hunt down an engine for a Sig Tri Star. Recommended engine is a .15 2 stroke. I'd like to get the strongest engine so lets hear your recomendations. Will work on keeping it light with mini servos and lithium or NIMH battery.
Thanks, Pete

please lets not go through this again with recommendations on a 25 for this plane. You will never get it to balance correctly and it will weigh a ton . It was never designed for that size motor and will really do best with the lightest motor that you can get into that backend.
I used a TD09 on the first one and it was incredably light and a great performer. The next one had a Nova Rossi 09 in it that upped the rpms and the performance level.
I can't tell you what to do in light of the fact that everyone seems hell bent on putting a 60 in a plane designed for a 20 and saying that you'll have superior performance. In this case it ain't necessarily so.
