I have just acquired a old engine..... An OS 40 4 Stroke. I figure this engine to be about 15 years old, maybe more. I know they are no longer manufactured.
Looks to be in very good shape, maybe ran once or twice. I don't think it will be any powerhouse, but should work well on a plane such as the "Big Lazy Bee".
Anyone have some experience with one of these old 4 strokes. Is it worth putting on a plane...... or should it go to the look at this self?
The price was right anyway......

I have one of those engines and it is a very good running engine, not a power house but will put around al day on thimble full of fuel and does quite well on a lite weight 40 sized plane such as the Balsa U S A stick type.
