That brings on the rest of the story.

1/4"-32 is not a normal coarse or fine thread. It a extra fine thread. There is a tap available through hobby sources though. It is realitively inexpensive.

You can send your head to Clarence Lee and he can install a Heli Coil in it for you. It's not cost effective to buy your own set of 1/4-32 Heli Coils. This was just talked about recently in the last few days.
