Hello:

Have an Aresti 40 with a Saito .72 up front. Will be installing the TME simple smoke pump II shortly.

--Will the Saito have enough heat to create smoke? Will be using MDW superdri fluid.

--How critical is the placement of the smoke pump? Room is limited and will have to mount it above and in front of the smoke tank. Will this still work?

--Is it necessary to tie down the tygon tubing on the smoke pump connectors or just push them on?

You will need a pre-heater coil to get enough heat for smoke. Pump placement is not critical at all. It is always safest to place a retainer of some sort on your fuel line couplers as it is very cheap insurance.
