Default Effectiveness of Perry pump

I'd like to locate the fuel tank on a Venture 60/Saito .91 close to the CG, 10 inches or so from the engine. Will a Perry pump pull the fuel up that distance without pressurizing the tank? Any other ideas?

I'm pulling fuel about 18 inches with perry pumps with no problem at all. Tanks are in the fuse and the pumps are mounted on the firewalls. Tanks are also about 7 inches below engines.
Tends to be a bit tough getting the first engine going, but by the time that one is running, the other starts right up.

Perry pumps work great with Perry carbs. But when used with a standard two needle factory carb the mid-range tends to run rich. This usually causes poor transistion to WOT. Just my experience.
