I've got the ultra stick 60 with a TT 91 fs. This engine is plenty for this plane. I had been using a 13x8, but just changed to a 14x6. The plane hovers at around 3/4 throttle. I tached it with the 13x8 and got in the 10,600 range, but ran it in the 10,200 range. This is an excellent engine, runs great and has gobbs of power. I do however have a few suggestions.
1) screw the muffler as far in as you can and then set the position and lock it down with the nut. I have had 2 incidents, one a hard wreck and one just lost a landing gear, which broke the exhaust flange on the head. I had to order a new head twice @ 49.99 each before I realized it. This may not prevent it, but it may help.
2) If it's new, make sure the timing is correct. These engines are notorious for being 1 tooth out of time.
3) Don't torque down the valve cover bolts to much, the front one has been known to strip out.
I think you will be pleased with this combo
Good luck,
k

Cool, thanks for the info, I got the engine used, so I tore it down and cleaned it up and set the timing myself so its spot on. It runs pretty darn strong. For 99 bucks I figured I couldnt go too wrong with a 60 size stick, would love to have the ultra, maybe in the future, thanks again.
