Just bought 2 new GMS .47 engines. Previously I've only owned OS with the exception of a Magnum 4-Stroke. One of the .47's is for my wife's trainer and the other one will be going into a future sport model. I'm currently living in Japan and the only local fuel available is in 15% or 20% Nitro.
1. How tight does the carb need to be fitted in before tightening the bolt that holds it in?
2. What prop should I use for break in?
Thanks,
Ryan

My Feedback: (16)
The 15% will be fine.
I push the carb down as tite as I can with my fingers then tighten the bolt.
I used a 10-6 for break in but if yu don't have one, what ever prop you plan to use on the plane will work as long as it doesn't lug the engine down.
Get the needles set and put it in the air but don't be running it as lean or as fast as you can.
Enjoy,
Jim
