Default Easy starter?

How easy should it be to start an engine? Only I'm still having difficulty and am wondering if it's really worth the hassle using a glow engine in a boat if I end up spending half an hour trying to start it each time.
Thanks,

Default RE: Easy starter?

a properly tuned and maintained engine is VERY easy to start. should be just a flip of the prop or yank of the pull rope and it will go. most of the engine problems come from lack of experience. engine not set up properly &/or not primed or overprimed.
