Muffler bolt pattern chart?

You run into this from time to time. Have an engine and broke, lost, or never had a muffler. Doesn't brand X fit brand Y? Does anybody have this information. Sometimes you can get and idea by going to the Macs and other mufflers sites but that doesn't always help, sometimes they just list the most common brand the muffler fits, they may not tell you that it also fits several others. This would be very useful info to put up on this or another site.

OK, Good idea Sport!
I know that the LA40 muffler will fit a GMS .32and the Megatech/Mecoa.28. Most of the popular .46/50/53 engines have similar bolt patterns and can easily interchange. The FP10 and 15 use the same muffler and it has the same bolt spacing as the MECOA/Leo/Megatech 15. This will also fit the OS 10FSR.
Let's keep this going and make the chart Sport Pilot suggested.

Maybe we should build a spreadsheet with the demisions of the muffler mounting specs. and then cross refrence these with engine. deminsions instead of throwing up muffler matches. What do yall think? Do we have any good excell folks in the house??
