Default plowed tower 46

When the wing came off my sport plane, I attempted to use my tower 46 as a plow in an open field. Sorry to say it didn't even work as well as when I mow the grass with it. Took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together and it runs, but at 1/2 throttle it acts like WOT, at WOT it dies. Think it may have something to do with the needle inside the carb throttle arm. Any of you gearheads got any ideas? BTW I don't have owners manual & don't know if it would help anyway. :bananahea

There's trash in the carb yet.

Best thing you could do is send it back to Tower and let them set it up to factory specs.

PULL THE CARB OFF AND CLEAN AND CHECK IT AGAIN. YOU DIDN'T GET ALL THE CRUD OUT. ALSO MAKE SURE THE SEAL BETWEEN THE CARB AND THE CASE IS TIGHT. IF YOU TALK TO SOME OF YOU FELLOW FLYERS THERE IS SURE TO BE SOMEONE THAT KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND WILL HELP IF YOU NEED IT. THAT WILL BE A LOT BETTER THEN SENDING IT BACK AND WAITING.

Besides the carb cleaning, check your low speed needle setting; also check to see if the needle is bent ; more likely you still have dirt inside
