this thing sells for $34
I was wondering if there is off the shelf readily available alternative for
this type of pipe?

I've used this type of flexible tubing with my 4 strokes and it works well, but is very expensive. It also tends to heat-harden over time and will crack.
I've used copper tubing as a much cheaper substitute. You can bend it to most any shape. Seems like 3/8'', but I can't remember for sure. Hose clamps to hold it on to the header pipe + high temp silicone. I've not had much luck with rubber or silicone tubing. The 4 stroke exhaust is too hot.
