I'm planning to build another boat and have a marine engine at the ready. However, it doesn't have a pullstart and I don't have an electric starter for the f/w. So, can a p/s be fitted to an engine that doesn't have one? It's an Enya 19 btw.

correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think the enya .19 even has a removable backplate. if so, it is still very easy to come up with some sort of pulley with a notch on the front of the engine. a string with a knot is wrapped around it a couple of turns and yanked.
