Hi everybody,
I would like to make a modification on my OS 10 muffler. I need to cut about 3/16 t0 1/4 inch on the muffler entry as shown on the diagram. (the part with the x) Will this affect the performance in any way? Thank you in advance

Shortening the muffler stack shouldn't change the performance noticeably. As 00hex says you'll probably have to shorten the screws. One very important step is to file the interface between the stack and the engine itself perfectly flat. Use a mill file so that it is not a scratched surface.

Its not a tuned pipe, just an expansion chamber, as such, you could use a beer car if you wanted to. Performance will not be affected. The ONLY thing that affects performance on an expansion chamber is the diameter of the exhaust outlet.
