I have a Evolution engine, EV100 (.455) that I had been having problems with. I think I found several. First, the inner bearing rattles, and has some play from side to side if you rock it. Front bearing seal leaks. Found the underside of the exhaust gasket had a leak, (really had about a 1/4 inch missing), looks like some excessive wear / scuff marks on the piston and cylinder right where the exhaust port is. Seems to me like it's half of the engine as far as replacing parts goes. How about some opinions?
