1.20 four-stroke prop selection
THE ENGINE-Magnum four-stroke 1.20
THE PLANE- Goldberg Ultimate Bipe .60
THE ISSUE- What props have you used or would you use for this engine/plane combo? There are several suggestions in the engine manual, but I'd like to know WHY you've done what you've done and what results you've gotten. Props are pretty spendy at this size, so I would rather not just go out and buy a ton of them and experiment. Thanks so much for your consideration![8D]

RE: 1.20 four-stroke prop selection
I have the same setup except I had a pumped OS120. I tried APC 16x4w(9700 rpm), 15x8(9000) and 16x6(9000). The 16x6 gives you more thrust for better vertical, the 15x8 more speed. I did not like the 16x4w at all, no speed and poor vertical. I prefer the 16x6 because I want the vert performance and do not need the speed the 15x8 gives me.
