Default A good test stand ?

Can anyone recommend a good test stand ? Will be used for 40-120 glow. My old wood one just don't cut it any more.

Thanks

The American Hobby Products Jumbo has been very versatile for me but it's more of a 60-120 stand.

The standard size is for the 40-60 size.

Enjoy,

Tim

Stay away from the short "pot metal" alluminum "Tatonne" one, mine snaped the corner off while a Saito 120SGK was on her and broke loose!! I got a GREAT solid alluminum stand from Tower Hobbies that goes from a 1/2 or .049 to a 2.00! I ran my Saito 180S on her many times!! It was like $35.00 but mounts to a 2 X 4 (has all the holes and comes with wood screws) but I bolted it through with bolts, washers and screws and I put the stand on the right side of the 2 X 4 and a nice sized Dubro "no seam" fuel tank to the left, on the wood 2 X 4 so I can run my YS engines! The tank blows up like a balloon when you run a YS .60........the 2 X 4 is in my 8" vice on my 500 Lb work bench and I went to home depot and bought some clear flex hose that fit my rubber exhaust deflector so I run them in my garage and have the hose going outside into a bucket of water to capture the castor. I set up all my engines; ESPECIALLY my Super Tigers on a stand! I break in ALL my new engines on a stand too! There is another stand in the AMA magazine for like $65.00. I too have the small "Carl Goldberg" wood stand as well, but the mufflers do not clear the wing nut's or bolt on the left side as it is made to .40 size! Check Tower Hobbies and buy their BEST one...........it will do you!!

The Slip!!

Thanks for the advice everyone. That PSP stand looks NICE but is a bit more than I want to spend ( for now anyway ). I've decided to go with the JTec form Tower.

I use the JTec e-dave. My .35 Webra was too small for it, but I've used up to a 1.20 with no problems. It was well worth the money.

Thanks everyone. Went to Tower's site tonight to order the JTec and, of course, it's out of stock. [:@]
