Hello
I am wondering what to use for a coupler on a mousse can pipe. The aluminum tube is 1 inch in diameter and the coupler stuff they have at the hobby shop are 20 dollars. I dont want to spend that much money when the rest of the muffler was only a few bucks. Is there anything else that can take the heat in that diameter. I tried a bike inner tube because i had them laying around, they only last a few flights. I will try a cabin heat hose from full size aircraft but is there anything else??
Thanks
Tom

is that a metal coupler or hard plastic?? If it is not flexible it wont work for my installation becuase the pipe has to curve a bit underneath the bottom of the fuselage. I have installed the cabin heat hose from my dads work and have to see yet whether it will work.
