After running several props w/ several fuel on several planes, and after miscellaneous posts in response to various threads, I think it's time for me to put together a performance summary on this engine.
15% Omega fuel:
APC 14x4W 10200 rpm o
MA 13x6 10000 rpm +
20/20 fuel:
Pro-Zinger 15x4 9600 rpm +
MA Scimitar 13x8 9600 rpm +
30% Heli fuel:
APC 14x4W 10700 rpm +
APC 15x4W 9500 rpm (0.5 sec spool up/down delay)
Dynathrust 14x6 9500 rpm o
o = normal spool up & down
+ = instant spool up & down
I hope this is useful information.

I do not have numbers for the 72,but my 82 spins 9800 on 20/20 fuel with a APC 14x4W.My buddy and I have Extreme Flight 540t profiles.Up here at 5000ft elevation my 82 just kicks butt to his same plane with the 72.

I've sold my Saito 72. But from memory, this is what I can recall:
15% Omega fuel:
APC 13x4W 11000 rpm
APC 14x4W 9800 rpm
APC 13x6 10500 rpm
APC 12x6 11000 rpm
So Saito 82 is about 400 rpm stronger than Saito 72, but 300 rpm weaker than standard 4-stroke 91.

I have a Saito 82 on a Sig 4* 60.
To me this has been just about the perfect combo.
Running a MAS 14X6 tops out at 10000 and I get consistent idle at 1900 ~ 2100 with Coolpower 15% and 2.5oz added castor.
It will hold the 4* vertical longer than my skills will permit.
This is my first Saito and I like it much better than the FS70 which is on an ultra stick.
The only problem I had with the 82 is that it is so light I had to install a Higley Ultra Heavy Hub (4oz) to balance the 4* and this was after locating the battery under the fuel tank.
