Hi all, Who makes a muffler or header to fit this engine? I've got a strap on muffler for a Webra 61, would it bolt on the 91. Macs shows a header pipe for the 61, but no listing for the 91.
Thanks, Mike

Mike, here are three possibilities, the engine is drilled and tapped, by me, for a Fox .74 muffler, what you see on the right is a Fox muffler front end with a J-Tec Snuffler inserted into it. The muffler on the engine is an MVVS .91 dustbin muffler and is fairly quiet considering that there are no guts in it. The war weary one laying on the left is a Davis SoundMaster that is very quiet, does not hinder rpm and makes great muffler pressure. By the way, that MVVS DustBin muffler will paint your plane with Diesel exhaust better than any other muffler, and yes that is an MDS carb that works flawlessly.

What tools are needed to drill and tap a Webra 91 for a bolt on muffler?
I do not have a tap and die set... but I do own a dremel and a hand drill.. so what would be the most cost effective way to do this?

I wouldn't try it without a drill press, if you have a friend with a drill press and tap get him to do it, mine is tapped for 6-32 bolt and is tapped about 1/2 inch deep. There is plenty of metal there to do it. Of course you need to know the muffler of choice and the bolt spacing. You can set a drill press for the correct depth and by using the mounting lug to square the engine fore and aft and blocking the cylinder up with the cylinder centerline straight and level it will be perfect.
