Default Aero Engine Choice?

[8D] Can anyone help please?

I need a light weight high performance 25 to 32 glow engine for a Hawk trainer (RAF type). Have tried an ASP28, but its rather heavy mainly due to a large silencer, requiring 60g of lead in the tail - bad news.

Looked at the OS32SX and 25FX (32 has nearly 50% more power!), but would prefer a front mounted needle valve to fit cowling. A little hesitant about SC and Magnum

Any suggestions?

Regards,

What about the LEO engines from Just Engines? Talk to Paul on the net and see what he has to say.

The LEO 32 and 37 are in the same case and are real performers.

I've been around a OS FX a lot in the last year and its a nice running engine.

Enjoy,

Jim
