Default os 91fx muffler

jsut got my new os 91 fx, but before i install it, i was wondering if taking the baffle out of the muffler is worth it, or if its better to leave it in???
thanks

You need to try it both ways and then you will know? Some people claim a significant difference and others not. But if it's 200 rpm, that is still significant.

The baffle makes the engine a little quiter. It also seems to make the engine run hotter. Since this already runs hot, I plan to run mine without the baffle. I didn't tach the engine, but it seemed like it had a little more power without the baffle.

I was not concerned about the sound taking the baffle out increased about 300 rpm.
