Default Moki 1.35 ??

I am thinking of a Moki 1.35 in an Excelleron 90. Don't know of any owners. Are they worth the extra bucks? Where is the best place to buy one? Any coments appreciated.

I would'nt use a Moki it will be way to heavy for the excelleron. As far as i know MOKI will not be imported anymore. Morris hobbies now sells Mark engines that are made in the same place just a different name? As far as a engine for the excelleron i would use a YS 110 or something in the same weight range. I have a MOKI 1.35 I had it in a edge 540 about 11lb. plane. Your excelleron should be around 9 lbs. or less probably 8.5 lbs.

Morris only advertises the MARK 2.10. They don't say anything about the 1.35 or the 1.80?

Enjoy,

Jim

I think Dave Patrick may have the 1.35. He was advertizing it on his site.

Last time I went up to visit Bob there at Morris, he said he will soon have Mark 1.35 and 1.20 glow, and 1.80 gasoline. Maybe even a smaller glow too. I understand the 1.80 is kind of a stop gap measure, as the factory in Hungary is working on engines designed from the ground up to run gas.

I looked and Dave Patrick has the 135 through 210's.

Enjoy,

Jim
