The FA-56 is a good engine, as is the FA-65. My choice would be the FA-72. The 65 is close to four ounces heavier than the 56, while the 72 is almost as light as the 56, and more powerful than either of the others.
Bill.

The Sig Rascal begs for a four stroke engine. It would be a sin to put a 2 stroke on one?
The Saito 56 is noticably more powerful than the OS or Magnum 52's. Also, the Saito 72 is noticably more powerful than the Saito 65. The 65 shouldn't be considered for it is in a bigger case than the 72.
The Rascal is a "fly on the wing plane" and should perform well at 5,000 ft with the 56. If in doubt, get the 72. The 72 will offer you more flexibility in the long run.
Enjoy,
Jim

You need to always remember those specs are basedon sea level. Up here where we are, ignore them or use them as a baseline. I am at 5000ft here inAlbuquerque, If your at 8000, your DA on an average summer day is going to be close to or at 10,000ft. I suggest what Will Robison said and go with a 72.
