Derferic,

I have the pressure tap on the front of the can-- ( I chose the same location as the DH Models muffler). I think that the header location for the pressure tap would work as well.

Turbo,

Locating the tap on the can generally puts the pressure tubing to the tank in the airstream where it is subject to flutter. This can weaken and eventually break the tap and/or tubing. I have moved my taps to the header for this reason.

Derferic,

Thanks for the tip on the pressure tap being a weak spot. In the future, I will go to the header for placement. I am about to begin making a MCP for a 1.8, and will put it in the header.
