I'm looking for information on custom exhaust headers. I have an OS 160FX in a plane that requires a centerline exhaust. My problem is getting a header pipe that will come from the side exhaust port of the 160 and transition to the centerline of the plane. I had a custom made one built but it seems to break at the welds after 1 flight. I know that you will say just weld it back but I would like to have a 1 piece header with no welds except at the flange to the exhaust port of the engine. Can anyone tell me who to contact? I can send the pipe out for comparison and fabrication if I only knew who to send it to.

Try Radio South in Pensacola. I don't think they do custom work, but a lot of pattern flyers use the OS160 and pattern is his specialty. He might have something in stock. Website is radiosouthrc.com
