Default CMP Spitfire engine?

I just bought the China Model Products 70 in spitfire. I is supposed to weigh in at 10.5 lbs or less flying weight. The plane calls for a .90-1.08 2 stroke or a 120 4 cycle. What engine would you recommend considering easy of starting, adjustment, and performance? I have a ST .90 sitting in the basement but am not sure if it will be enough. I don`t really need unlimited verticle ..

I had one with a YS .91FZ. That four stroke flew the plane with authority and sounded good doing it:

* [link=http://www.whitetyphoon.com/rc/gsp_spit_figure_8.mpg]Spit Figure 8[/link] - at half throttle

I believe the ST .90 will be enough. My plane ended up close to 12 lbs with air retracts.

I sold it. I was still in pristine condition, but I needed to make room for other warbirds.

I had the ST G90 in a WM Super Chipmunk. The plane is about 8 lbs. No unlimited vertical but can give me a nice knife edge on FULL throttle. So with a 10.5 lbs plane it will just about fly it around. You may not have that extra power in reserve. Try it perhaps and see how well she can pull the plane.

I was thinking about getting one of these planes for my next project. My question is, do you think one of the gasoline engines can be used in this plane? If they can be used what would be an appropriate size? I really like the idea of being able to use the gas can in the garage used for the lawnmower (:.
