What is the maximum distance allowed between the engine and the fuel tank for a Tower Hobbies .61?

For sport flying I think you could get away with 6-8". If you do any hovering or low RPM verticle up lines you will have a problem. A lot of pattern guys use a pump with the tank on the CG. That way the plane will be consistant through out the whole flight.
