I was wondering if anybody ever built a custom 4 stroke muffler ?? I thought I read some place of guys useing rifle shell casings . Was also wondering if you could bend pipe to make it exit out of a scale location .Do you need so much length to get enought back preasure for preasurizing your fuel tank ??

I built one for my Saito 80 which works great and takes alot of the bark out of the sound because i welded a baffle midway inside the muffler. I welded (brazed) it together from thin sheet steel. It leaves a nice smoke trail in the sky, i think the oil burns a little inside it.

Hello; Here's an early attempt. I ran the ends of eh pipes past each other to try to kill the noise. It's just brass tube with washers at teh ends. I made this for my Dynaflite Mustang. I was surprised how well it works. It was very quiet too.
