Default Handicap modifications.

Hello all, yes I know mostly plane guys hang here. I was a plane guy for a few decades before becoming disabled, I can no longer fly as I'm in a wheelchair & only have one hand, so I'm now a monster truck guy.
First, I'm about to replace my Dynamite Mach .26 that is OEM in my Losi LST. I already have a new Collari .30 on my bench but I can always sell it for what I paid easily.
I know it sounds crazy & heavy but humor me. Traxxas RC toys have an onboard electric starter mechanism that you simply add switched power to operate. My idea is to derive power from my existing onboard battery pack (enlarged a bit) & operate the starter via a 4th channel operated soleniod.
Anyone ever experiment with anything remotely close? Not crazy enough? How about also adding a motorcycle type lighting coil & rotating field coil to create an onboard self charging system? Just add gas! No need to recharge! I think a heavier flywheel would have a great positive effect in a truck application where torque is needed.

So basically, would a onboard traxxas starter mechanism fit a Collari .30?
Is there a transmitter out that can accommodate this function?

Thanks for your time,
Michael C.

Better use some opto isolators between the starter circuit and radio circuit.

Enjoy,

Jim
