I was wondering you guy's thoughts on these devices???

been thinking about getting one......

Is it a Good investment???

the adds sure sound like they are.......

with the price of some of the planes these days.....i am begining to look into this......

ANY HELP is APPERCIATED!!!!!!

I have yet to realize the need for one these units. If you have a problem child, why not...

I also considered using one but like I said above, after many gallons of fuel I could not justify the actual need. I am flying singles, twin's and a quad engined aircraft, no problems.

On the other hand it is cheap insurance and if it prevents you from seeing a $100.00 an hour shrink or getting a divorce, I'd own lots of em...

Default On board glow drivers

I'm using one on the Brown B-2 racer shown in the Pic, but only because I have the engine inverted. It's an old solid state unit made by RAM that a friend gave me. I've adjusted it to come on during the lower 1/3rd portion of the throttle, and it works extremely well. I went a step further and replaced the small 1300 sub "C" cell, with a 5000 "D" cell.

jim i don,t blame you for useing onbord driver on the brown b2
it is a vary nice plane i have learned my lesson the hard way
with a dead stick on 1/4 scale cap 232 when it goes back up
it will have one happy new year and wish you great flying
