Default Glow plug question

I will be breaking in a new Webra Speed 50 tomorrow. I am out of OS no. 8 plugs and the LHS is a three hour round trip. I have a couple of Enya no. 4s. Any comments on using these in the Webra? Fuel is 10% Omega and the weather here is a bit humid and temps in the high 80s.

Thanks,

Dave

The Enya plugs will be fine. The only time plug selection gets critical is when you want absolutely the last rev the engine will give (other than minor details like how it idles). None of this matters when you're running in and the heat range of that Enya plug is near enough to the OS #8 anyway.

Thanks Downunder. If memory serves, the Enya no. 4 is just a bit cooler than the OS no. 8. Just wanted to be sure. Hopefully they will run good enough in the Webra to fly Sunday.

Fact is, you're not going to hurt your engine just breaking it in. The engine will run right or it will not.

Enjoy,

Jim

Ran the engine a bit today. Not fully broken in. I had one OS no. 8 and did the first few runs with it. Just out of curiousity I changed to the Enya No 4. Tach readings were within 100 rpm or so, transition actually seemed a bit better with the Enya. This is gonna be one strong running engine when I get it fully broken in.
