Default YS 63 FZ owners - read this

Ok moderator I put this thread here because I am not looking for any input from Dave Shadel, just advising other YS 63 FZ owners.

After landing my plane I noticed the entire needle valve assembly missing. Be careful as this cost me $36 in parts and shipping. Make sure yours is tight.

Joe,
It sounds to me like you´ve had a lot of vibration in your engine, I´ve lost several parts in many engines like mufflers, needles, etc.
Since I´ve lost a needle from a 2 stroke engine, I always secure my needles with an o ring surounding the needle housing.

Best regards.

Moderator this looks to me like a back handed slap that is uncalled for.

I have 2 - .63's, I have had a few issues with them ( now resolved ) but in 300 flights I have never had ANYTHING come loose, just the "nut" on the sticks

Yep me too, 400 flights and nothing came loose, until Satuday

Update: Central hobbies is out of stock on these.

Update: YS Performance had it in stock and said it's really rare to fall out. hmmmm.

My prop was a tiny bit ut of balance but not that much. Maybe it's a fluke.
