Question about an OS .52 4-satroke in a Kaos
I just received a Kaos that I bought. It was used and already built. I want to put my OS .52 4-stoke in it. The problem that I am having is that the throttle linkage is on the opposite side from where I need to hook it up to the engine.
My main question is can I turn the carburetor on this engine 180 degrees so the linkage will hook up?
The reason that I am asking this is, it will require quite a bit of work to move the linkage to the other side of the plane because of the way the previous owner set the servos and control rods up.
Thanks for any help or suggestions

Did you ever put the OS52 into the KAOS? I just bought a 52 on ebay today, with the intent of putting it in a Bals USA 1/6 scale WW1 bipe, but the Tower Kaos is a great flying airplane. Thinking that with a light 52 four stroke it might fly well/I also have an OS70 FS, but sounds like it might be too much and also nose heavy/thanks/cesar

Dear Mangled fingers ... Thanks, good to know. I have seen many kaos fly well w/2 stroke 46-55, just curious about a four stroke in the ARF KAOS/thanks again/cp

RE: Question about an OS .52 4-satroke in a Kaos
My experience with the OS 52 is that at mid throttle, there is a fine line between being rich or lean. It seems to be created by the muffler pressure? The engine will run rich and then lean on you, more or less a slow surge. When the run good, they run very well.
I never had this experience with my OS 48 with the OS 52 carb
