Hi,
The instructions for this Irvine 53 limited edition says 20% castor oil and 0% nitro for sport flying and 15% nitro for competition flying.
After the first warranty repairs I am sure this engine has not been running "too rich and too cold" as I could barely touch it or I would burn my fingers[:@]. But it ran very good, powerfull and reliable so I didnt care to much about the heat[
].
Now with the lowered compression it is much easier to run and fly the engine at a rpm more near the peak rpm without overheating in the air. I should have been more careful[sm=rolleyes.gif]
