Default SK engines by Kangke??

Does anybody know anything about the SK series engines by Kangke? They're advertised for $50 for a .50 size two stroke.
I've searched but found nothing regarding the engines, just their ARFs.

Thanks,

I have their .50 and their .80 engines, but haven't had time to run them yet. Maybe later this Fall...?

They are identical to the Tiger Shark engines . Made in China. When the tiger shark engines first came out they were acclaimed for their power. Supply was iffy and carb problems (now rectified) hurt their reputation and they all but disappeared. I have three of them and they are as good as an O.S. for much less money. Probably the "Best Buy" in engines at the present.

I bought the .50 size this past Summer. Mine had a problem with the throttle body sticking. I called Kangke and they immediately sent me a new carb. The motor now runs very good with lots of power. Good engine, good customer service as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Doesn't that sound soooo California?
But I am serious. Thanks.

I have had Enya, ASP and a few other brands, most of them top brands, do that binding
in the carb thing. Hey, if it can happen with an Enya....<G>

Like Ed,I have SK.80 and SK .50.I could do only break in for the .80 on the bench.I noticed how easy to start.Just prime and one flip.Powerful.Good craftsmanship. The price was unbelievable(still so).
Other SK.50 is now on a trainer.I could run it about 5 tanks on ground to break in.I noticed;the high speed needle valve (has double o rings) tends to leak so have to put some fuel tubing to seal.High compression(real ABC).Now it s waiting for flying.I hope I can put my comments in several weeks. But for such a price I recommend to everyone.I just forgot, that .50 had the maiden flight only once for checking 2 weeks ago.Flied well(adjusted good rich side). After coming home I discovered my fuel tank has a big crack to leak and engine run without problem. This put a positive checkmark near it.

Thanks for the input. For the price, it seems like it's worth checking out.

What you pay is what you get. They suck. Had both 52 and 90 2 stroke no power.Get a jett if you want a real motor.
