Default Saito 120 S Intake Velo Stack

I have a quick question: Do I need the Intake Velo Stack on the Saito 120 S. Or will it run just as well with out it?

Thanks,
Victor

Victor:

The FA-120S will run fine without the stack, but it will run much more economically with it. Even better with the addition of a Bru-Line fine mesh air filter. Anyway, the FA-120S came WITH a stack, so why the question? No room for it?

Bill.

Thanks for your reply Bill. I have a OMP Fusion F3D and It's nose heavy. I could move the motor all the way to the rear of the motor mount if the stack was not on (the stack is almost one inch around).

Victor:

Just loosen the gland nut holding the intake to the cylinder and swing the assembly to one side, allowing the stack to clear. I'd suggest moving it toward the center of the engine to keep it protected. So long as you watch the tank position the engine wont know it's not in the original position.

Don't forget to tighten the gland nut after you move the carb.

Bill.
