How does MRC/Altech Marketing stay in business? They show one Enya four-stroke engine, the .53, on their website. I truly do not understand these people. Why does Enya tolerate their behavior?
Is it possible that Enya only produces a few engines a year, for whatever reason, and is not interested in increasing sales? Nothing else makes a lick of sense.
In the USA, walk into any hobbyshop and mention that you are interested in buying an Enya engine. You will get a sour expression shot back at you. You're one of "those" guys.

That would explain a lot. If so then no reason to spend any money on service.

Very much making engines. Infact they just came out with 3 new diesels an 11,15 and 25, This only engine maker to release NEW
diesels in years
MRCs main interest seems to be Helios and Model trains (which they do a good job of) Engines seem to take a back seat, they had Irvine at one time, also Enya and Irvine do not spend a lot of money advertising in the USA for what ever reason they do not toss around the bucks like OS or Magnum. This is no reflection on the engines but they also do not have very much of a market share
and may think its a hole to pour money into their reputation sells the product you may very well soon have to get your Enyas from
Modelflight "down under" or Enya UK and Paul at just engines will get what you want too. I do not know if MRC has the enya 50 2 strk
any more or not, its a great engine martin

The problem more than likely rests with the importer. I have been to many countries during my military career and every overseas hobby shop I've been in had a nice selection of Enya engines, and Rossi's and Webra's. Many Enyas I've seen overseas were not imported by MRC, like the diesels and some of the rear exhaust 60's. Enya's are much more popular in other countries than they are in the US and Canada, that fault rests with the importer.

The bottum line is, you still cant find them in the U.S. and buying them overseas cost a small fortune.

I bought two new Enya .15 R/C engines (arrived yesterday) and one new Enya 53-4C From Sheldon's Hobbies in CA over the last month and a half.

Laser.
And to avoid distribution issues, you go to one source to by 'em. The factory. Laser don't have "distributors."
Same for spares, or they will rebuild the motor for you if it's that bad.
Neil Tidey, the engine designer/company owner/salesman, is a great guy to deal with.

Yes it is
. It is a beautifully made engine that runs quieter than other fourstrokes and can be run on 0-15% nitro so you can choose if you want to run cheap fuel or not. Also turns to like big props.

How much power do you want. You sometimes need to buy the next size up to get the same power as an Enya. If you need the power of the Enya R120 you will need to get the Laser 150.
