In Cowl Muffler
I have two war birds, a Kyosho P-51 with a OS Max .46 FX and a Top Flight P-47 with a OS Max .61 FX and would like to know how to buy (or what to buy) for a muffler for these engines that does not stick out the side of the cowl like the stock ones do. looking for reccomendations. Also if the cowl is closed (no exit holes) will the engine over heat?

I believe Top Flite makes a header and muffler for the OS 61 FX. Check their web site Top Flite .
For the 46, you can try Slimline, Bison or Jett. The Jett one look impressive. I don't have a web address for Bison but you can get them through Tower Hobbies.
